 "Camp Miller represents some the best momories and experiences of my childhood. I spent five years as a camper and wish I had started sooner but was to afraid as a young boy to attend. I also regret that I choose not to utilize the Junior councelor program which I originally signed up for to attend a pre-college program at UMD instead (oops). I also was one of the original winter campers,there were 8 of us rugged boys who choose to give that first winter camp a chance. It also was a great time. Someday I would like to return to Camp Miller to have a look around to see the changes that have been made....though I think my memories of old cabins and the worn and tired look of a backwoods camp will be far more beautiful then any fancy new building or technilogical advancement that may have been made could ever be. I do hope that the campers are still being told of the legend of "Horrible Hannah". Long live Camp Miller." "I remember I went to flash dance 2. Im just finishing up my first year. I live in Duluth. I remember my experiences at camp everyday of my life. Camp Miller was the one thing I looked forward to every year and I loved it there. I made many new friends. Camp Miller has been one of the best things in my life. I tell people about it all the time and i love hearing their stories about it when they come back after a week." I remember just waiting for that brochure to come in the mail each year and being so excited about going that I couldn't wait to start selling the candy bars! I think the best time was when we were out on our overnight trip and it started raining and we decided that we would go puddle jumping in the rain! It was so much fun!" "I spent over 8 years at Camp Miller as a camper, went through all the programs the camp had to offer. As a freshman in highschool istarted my 9th year as a counselor. I finished my 10th year as a jr. counselor at camp before returning to the University of Washington. Today im in the United States Air Force but visit the camp during the summer while im at my summer cabin across the lake." "I had two fantastic years at Camp Miller when I was very young, 18/19 years old. I loved every moment I was there and made many great friends. Many years have since past and I have lost contact with almost everyone. Would love to hear from people who remember me."
