Adult Fat Camp

When you’re a kid, you probably spent a lot of time thinking about what it would be like when you’re grown up.  You have an idealized vision of how great it would be to eat whatever you want, stay up as late as you want, buy whatever you want, and do absolutely anything you please.

Of course, the reality is quite different.  Adults have responsibilities and pressures that kids can’t see.  And most adults think how great it would be to go back to being a kid, with no responsibility, and someone taking care of you.

But then, there are some people who grow up into adults and fall right into that kid’s fantasy life.  They eat anything they care to, they spend weekends watching television, and they get very little sleep.  They turn into very unhealthy adults, of course, and need someone to step in and show them the error of their ways before a heart attack happens!

You have to be responsible for yourself and understand that you can’t live on a diet of fast food and sugar.  Even processed food that’s labeled as healthy is not great if it makes up your whole diet.  It takes education to learn how to eat healthy, and it takes commitment to stick to a fitness program.

Adults sometimes look for an easy way out, but with losing weight, easy and fast is usually not a good way to go, because it doesn’t last.  For the most part an adult “fat camp” is not possible, and plastic surgery is a really drastic measure.  It’s best to change your lifestyle, because that’s a change that will keep the weight off over the years.
